The mountain world for wheelchair users
Bergbahn AG Kitzbühel is keen to particularly provide people with limited mobility access to mountain sports in both summer and winter.
For this reason, our trained staff will of course always help to make use of the facilities as accessible as possible for you.
Thanks to its extensive pistes and wide-ranging facilities, Kitzbühel is an ideal monoski area for every ability level. Thanks to detachable chairlifts and ramps, guests can use chairlifts and gondola lifts independently, thus ensuring that nothing stands in the way of monoskiers in the Kitzbühel ski resort.

The toilets have a min. door width of 80 cm (Ö-Norm) and a turning radius in the toilet of 150 cm. The washbasins are accessible by wheelchair and so too are the hand dryers. Doors are outward opening or sliding and the WC seat height is 48 cm. There are handles on both sides.

Special prices for people with disabilities
People with disabilities will receive the following discounts for ski passes of 1-7 days (with photo) or Up-and downhill tickets (without any sports equipment) if they present a valid severely disabled ID clearly stating their degree of disability (preferably in German):
With 70-90% degree of disability:
- Adults: 20% discount from the standard adult price
- Youths: 50% discount from the standard adult price
- Children: free ticket
With 100% degree of disability:
- Adults: 70% discount on the standard adult price
- Youths: 70% discount on the standard youth price
- Children: free ticket
The severely disabled ID card must be shown at the ticket office and carried while skiing.
