Thousands of spectators enjoy the thrills and edge-of-your-seat action as the high-point of the sporting year. With courage and skill, races hurtle down the ski run, which is quite quick from the very onset. The local spectators and the millions of ski fans watching on TV hold their breath until every last racer has crossed the finish line and the awards ceremony can take place.
