Kitzbüheler Horn summit breakfast
Bergbahn AG Kitzbühel takes its slogan ─ "The first on the mountain" ─ quite literally by transporting all early birds up the Kitzbüheler Horn' mountain before sunrise.
Here you can enjoy a contemplative morning service, a hearty "Tirol Milch" mountain breakfast and a romantic hike through the Alpine Flower Garden.
Special excursions in the great outdoors accompanied by local music
By the time the sun rises above the Loferer Steinberge mountains, your climb will already be behind you. The Kitzbühel Hornbahnen cable cars (B1 Hornbahn I and B3 Horngipfelbahn) will provide a special service to allow you to watch the sunrise once from close up accompanied by the sounds of the “Weisenbläser” (traditional brass music).

The “head towards the sun” ticket (incl. journey up & down, breakfast and guided hike) is available at the Kitzbüheler Hornbahn ticket offices. Registration by 5:00 pm the previous day at Bergbahn AG Kitzbühel by phone on: 0043 5356 6951 1411 or by email to: hornbahn@kitzski.at
Please note: The event will take place almost all weathers unless thunder or heavy rain is forecast (information is available the day before by visiting www.kitzski.at/sunrise). In the event of a weather-related cancellation, pre-purchased tickets will be refunded in cash at ticket offices or may be redeemed on the next available date.
